Secret Hitler is a strategy and betrayal game set in 1930s Germany. Each player randomly receives a role as a liberal or a fascist, while one player takes on the role of Secret Hitler. The fascists work together to destabilize the government and bring their ruthless leader to power, while the liberals try to uncover and stop Secret Hitler before it’s too late.
At the start of the game, players close their eyes, and the fascists reveal each other, while Secret Hitler keeps their eyes closed and raises a thumb to reveal their position to the fascists. The fascists know who Hitler is, but Hitler doesn’t know who the fascists are, and the liberals don’t know anyone’s role.
Each round involves electing a President and Chancellor who work together to pass a policy from the secret deck. If a fascist policy is passed, players must figure out if it’s a betrayal or just bad luck.
